Hi there, I am living at 311 E. 10th street and to the east of the house, is a public alley road for cars to drive back to the parking lots behind the houses in that vicinity. Over the past few months, we have seen increase sizes of the existing potholes that were there probably from last winter or just erosion over time. This alley way is a gravel drive so as cars continue to drive on it, the potholes get bigger and deeper. I was seeing if there is a possibility before the winter to get the holes filled in with asphalt or gravel to prevent our sedans from bottoming out and scraping the ground with our cars. I know that this alley road is a popular road for the tenants that live within a few houses of the alley because it is one of the main access points to the parking lot in the back of the houses. I would appreciate if someone could reach out to me to even see if it is possible to accomplish before the first snow fall this year. What used to be a 10 minute drive to work now takes close to 35. Why? Construction on Tapp, 37, Rodgers, Walnut, 10th Street, Dunn, Fee, and Gordon Pike closed. There is literally not any route left to get to work. Everyone on the south side is forced to sit in traffic for two to three times the normal length due to terrible planning by the city in the closing of streets and construction that has effectivity shut down part of the city and prevent us from going anywhere or doing anything.
