Follow-up on Report #185258 – Assistance needed, please forward to Ms. Elizabeth Carter. Dear Ms. Carter, Thank you for your prompt response to case #185258. We seek your continued guidance regarding the issue outlined in the initial message. The eroded drainage-way section lies outside our rental property's limits. After discussions with all relevant property owners (1912 E Wexley Rd, 1920 E Wexley Rd and 3020 Stratford Dr), we've concluded that this affected section of the drainage-way, causing flooding, might not be on our properties. This is reinforced by utility bollards adjacent to the eroded zone, demarcated by an extra fence. Suspicions arise from recently installed storm drain pipes on E Wexley, which appear to now funnel excessive water into this drainage-way, exacerbating erosion on both sides and ultimately flooding our properties. We kindly request the City of Bloomington's experts to determine ownership of the eroded section accurately and provide expert advice, ideally from an engineer, on addressing the heightened drainage flow, which is beyond our control. Subject: Urgent: Request for Removal of Dead Trees on Public Land Dear Madam/Sir, I am writing to bring to your attention a concerning issue regarding our property at 3020 S Stratford Dr. The southern and eastern perimeters are populated with numerous dead trees, on public land. We have reported this matter to the Urban Forester in August, and they know about the issue, we are on their list. We understand that they have immense workload, however, the urgency of our situation has increased as with each passing windy day, large branches have begun falling into our yard, posing a risk to both property and safety. We fear that the upcoming sub-freezing temperatures and spring tornado season will exacerbate the situation. Something has changed in the timing with the traffic signal at the corner of tapp and Rockport. In the mornings, there is hardly any time for the cars from Rockport to get through on a green light. This is a problem for school drop offs. I have lived at this corner for 13 years and this seems to be a new problem with the timing. It is causing a traffic line on Rockport. Would appreciate if this could be looked into and changed back to the way it was. Thank you.
