Stuck on in the 'stop traffic' position
Stuck on in the 'stop traffic' position
the traffic light at the corner of 2nd street and high street needs fixing. the turn arrow going south (coming from the east) always engages, even with no cars in the turn lane. and it stays for a long time. this has happened several times in the past.
The pedestrian crossing signal on the northwest corner of S. Rogers and W. Patterson is not operative.
Cannot see 'red dot' of traffic signal at 3rd and Woodlawn. Difficult to cross street.
Wait/Walk signals at Atwater and Woodlawn are confusing. Unless someone happens to press the button before the light changes, the wait signal stays on the whole time. Foreign students get especially confused. The 3rd and Woodlawn wait/walk signals can also be confusing, but are not nearly as bad.
The flashing yellow arrow and the steady clearance arrow are kn each other's position northbound Patterson at 2nd. The order of signal displays should be with the most permissive at the bottom and the most restrictive at the top.
College mall road and covenanter drive. Light flashing red.,signal not working
Three of my coworkers and I go to work at 6am and we get stuck waiting for the left arrow turn light on Patterson and 2nd to turn green. It takes almost 2 minutes before it will turn green.
Walnut southbound left turn arrow onto Grimes east cycles green every time and there's rarely a car turning left. Plus the northbound left turn arrow for Grimes/Patterson doesn't stay green long enough causing traffic to back up almost to Hillside at times.
On several occasions I've pulled up to the left turn lane stop line going south on Henderson at Winslow and have not gotten a green light. I arrived at the intersection just as Henderson northbound is getting a green light and green turn arrow, and there are no cars yet at the red lights on Winslow. Once the northbound left turn traffic is done, the southbound light never goes green. So I sit and wait for an entire cycle before getting a green arrow three minutes later.
