Would it be possible to extend the time the Switchyard Park Splash Pad is open on Food Truck Fridays during the summer? The splash pad closed at 8pm on Friday but it was still very bright out and very hot. Extending the splash pad operating time an extra half hour to an hour might encourage individuals to stay at the parks a little longer together building a stronger community and more business for the food trucks. Switchyard Skatepark lights still haven't been turned on. B-Line and adjacent park lights came on around 7:10p last night, and by the time I left at 8 (because it was too dark to keep skating), they still weren't on. I'd really like to make sure they're on for tomorrow's opening of the new features! (Though tonight would be better) Secondary comment: Is there a way to update old tickets instead of creating new ones? I've tried replying to the emails in the past but that didn't seem to work.

Forward to Mayor and whoever is involved in approving this. Same sex restrooms at Switchyard park?!! Seriously? I am a lifelong resident of Bloomington of 66 years. I am absolutely appalled at the restrooms being open to whatever sex wants to use them with each other. I had no idea until I visited for the first time and had to use the restroom. My mouth dropped when I read the signs on both sides of the building. What is wrong with the people doing this? For the love of God, put in women and men’s restrooms! The leadership in Bloomington is absolutely rotten in allowing women and children to share a restroom with males. I refuse to ever go to that park or any future park again that allows this. It’s obviously a democratic agenda that has destroyed the town of Bloomington. Keep men out of women and children’s restrooms! Where did you people come from to do such a thing and risk women and children to be sexually assaulted or preyed upon? We want to feel safe and comfortable when we use the restroom. Sick.

We joined an event Sunday, 9/17. It was advertised as a muscial event at the Main Performance Stage. I had several handicapped people to transport there. There was NO map of Switchyard park. There was no accessibility information. There was no information about a drop off place for people in wheelchairs or walkers. A map showing walkways, accessibility entrances, and all venues for Switchyard is needed!

Bryan park 2-5 year old playground is in need of some updating. The floor is deformed and the tiles have shrunk which has caused large sections to pull apart, leaving large gaps that our 18 month old have tripped over and twisted her ankle in. The steps leading up to the slides also have multiple broken welds and are at risk of breaking while someone is climbing them. Is there a plan to update or replace the 2-5 year old playground in the near future? Thanks

There is a weeping willow at the corner of E Southdowns Dr and S Hawthorne that took a hit during this afternoons storm. We have cleaned most of it up and stacked it nearby for pickup. The problem is, there is still a very large, broken limb hanging dangerously above the walkway that we could not reach. For this branch to be removed, will require a lift and bucket to reach.
