Over a year ago, new water lines were installed along Brookdale to accommodate a new apartment complex on the west side of Kinser Pike. (Aspen Apts.) That construction dug up parts of the yards of the houses on Brookdale as well as part of the street itself. The street was never repaved and the areas that were covered up with dirt become muddy when it rains.
My cold water was brown this morning at 5am. I couldn't find a boil order.
Water meter pit in alley on north side of 514 S Grant St has a broken cap, and looks like vehicle’s tires have been driving into the pit.
Brand new intersection —-ponding water on crosswalk. The water drained fine before the street was repaved.
Dog water fountain at Bryan Park seems clogged/not draining. It was full before i pushed the button and i couldn't clear it by hand. It is good that it doesn't drain too fast, but too slow or not at all mean stale water and mosquito breeding grounds. Thanks!
Large dog park at Switchyard. You guys were so responsive to my recent report, I thought I would send you another one. You have at least 5 broken sprinkler heads that are leaking water. See attached file. I didn't walk the whole park. There may be others between the big hill and sun shade area. Otherwise park is great (once the mud hole is filled in)! Us dog owners love it. Rain patterns are changing. My neighborhood has no storm water drainage. The water flows down from N Dunn unabated. All my neighbors and I have done remediation but the volume of water flowing across our properties has dramatically increased. All of us have experienced flooding. I have lived in my house for 21 years. I have never had a flood in my basement. I have had two in the past month. We pay every month for storm water removal in our utilities bill, but in truth all the cost has actually fallen to the home owners. Please look into this. We all feel that storm water needs to be captured at N Dunn St. I look forward to your response.
