Does this city code also apply to bus drivers? It's posted prominently all over the downtown Transit Center, and yet mutiple bus drivers enjoy their tobacco at the entrance to the parked buses while riders waiting to board are downwind of their smoke, unable to board. Does this mean anything, or does it only apply to riders?
The North/South alley between 810 W. 7th and 804 W. 7th is being encroached upon by gardens, woodpiles, trees/vegetation and possibly the fence and cinder block garage owned by 810 W 7th St. As a result, the alley traffic is being diverted outside of the alley right of way and onto the private property located at 804 W. 7th. This appears to have been going on for a number of years. As the new owner of 804 W. 7th St., it is my full intention to re-claim the property/property line currently being encroached upon and proceed with renovations. I request that the Street Dept contact the owner of 810 W. 7th and order the encroachments be removed. With the assistance of a surveyor, I have located the NW and SW corner pins delineating the right of way and pounded new T posts just outside of the right of way in those spots and plan to post the entire property line once the encroachments are removed. Were I to reclaim the property line today, the alley would become impassible due to said encroachments. I request your assistance in remedying this situation in a civil and legal manner, as requests to the homeowner of 810 W.7th have fallen upon deaf ears. I request that you keep me in the loop regarding this issue. I would be happy to meet with a representative of the street dept, with survey in hand, to assist in clarifying and remedying this issue, as renovations of 804 W. 7th will begin in a few weeks. Fallen tree in street
There has been a wire drooping over this entrance to the neighborhood for weeks now. Duke came out and discovered it was not their wire and all they did was put a flag on it. This morning it is now making it impossible to drive through. it is on the ground. I have also contacted Comcast to see if it was there Hanging wire across the street and apparently they have not come out to do anything about it either. This morning it was fine and now it is blocking one of the two entrances to the neighborhood and the other entrance already has a lot of construction going on at it.

New BRU burger building has multiple downspouts that drain directly onto the Grant Street sidewalk. I don't believe this is allowed with new construction?
theres a path connecting maple heights to tri north middle school along the south property line of 917 N Maple. about a month ago someone came with a large side-deck mower and cleared the wildflowers that were not obstructing the path. but they did nothing about the things that *were* obstructing the path! this job requires shovels, shears, and elbow grease. will the city clear the path? I understand these paths are in a grey area and I'd appreciate it if you update this ticket with the info about whichever dept accepts the duty. thanks!!
Allen St sidewalk between Adam's and Mother Hubbard's is overgrown, sidewalk a mess, needs long needed maintenance
Trees on south side of street are overgrown 2200-2100 Sycamore Village heading to Southeast park. Could not safely walk to park with stroller. Could tree branches and bushes be cut back to prevent scratching and to enable passing through? This is the length of block east of Sycamore sign to the entrance to park. Many thanks!
