Ms. Anderson wrote to say how beautiful the garden plantings around town are, especially the areas around the Showers Bldg. She feels the flowers are well chosen and artfully planted and they contribute a great deal to the beauty of the city. Also, complimented the staff on the wildflower planting north of Miller Showers. The City paved the streets in this area. This caused the street to be raised causing the water to run off onto his property. The water backed up to his property and has caused his basement to flood. The cost to clean up this mess is approximately $6,000.00. He doesn't want to clean it up and then have the same thing happen again the next time it rains.
