The "lost animals" section of the Shelter webpage is really a pain to navigate. Why aren't these just in a set of bulleted entries? You have to keep popping open one description at a time, then using the Back button to go back, scroll to where you left off, pop open another one . . . I just found a lost cat, and trying to go through these descriptions is making me crazy!
Person came to office with complaint of overgrown lots, most of them being vacant. She stated Cathcart, Renwick, an Hathaway all have overgrowth. She specifically stated one of the lots in on the corner of Cathcart and Hathaway.
alley behind Opie Taylor, intersection of the two alleys, bags of trash thrown out in the middle, dumpster previously there, now gone, may be source of problem.
This property immensely violates the City code regarding overgrowth of the yard and landscaping. In fact, the public sidewalk attached to this property that runs along 16th Street is practically impassable. There is barely a walkable path where the sidewalk should be.
Growth reported by resident into the road at 2513 S Ford Ave.
Recycling bin stored on sidewalk. Also, large amount of brush blocking sidewalk.
Going towards the Mall, on E Second Street, past the intersection with Woodscrest, before the 'wavy wall' starts: trees encroaching on the sidewalk, walking there might be unpleasant because you may get hit in the face by branches.
There has been no street sign on our corner (16th and Washington) for a number of years.
Vegetation is growing over the sidewalk on the Maple Street side of house. Sidewalk is impassible the entire length. You have to walk out in the street. Looks terrible and is a safety issue.
