Website & Web Services Feedback

Case Date:
12/13/2014

Hello, Just wanted to pass along a quick thanks to those who have worked to put together the page http://bloomington.in.gov/sections/viewSection.php?section_id=593 . Also, if you don't mind, I wanted to suggest an additional resource to further help those challenged by drug abuse and mental health issues. Under "Suicide Prevention Coalition" the link below would be a helpful resource. Bloomington Mental Health and Drug Abuse Treatment http://drugabuse.com/usa/drug-abuse/bloomington-in/ I look forward to hearing from you soon. Thank you, Lauren Holloway Community Outreach Coordinator

Potholes, Other Street Repair

1221 W 6th ST

Case Date:
12/15/2014

I received a phone call today saying that the potholes I reported last week had been repaired. After inspecting the area at around noon I found this not to be the case. I suspect the person who evaluated the situation was noticing that some alley repair had been completed in the spring/summer at the street entrance however about ten to twenty yards up from the street entrance is where the problem area is. Old pavement has crumbled away and cars are bottoming out. To remind you of the location, this is the first alleyway on the south side of 6th street east of Adams. It is a very high traffic alley way due to the fact that there is off street parking for several apartments on Kirkwood behind my house (1221 W. 6th). If you follow the alley way around to the left (exiting on Pine Street) you will find many more problem spots. I hope these issues can be addressed soon before the really bad weather arrives. Thank you!
