The street light just north of the roundabout on Weatherstone is still out. It is just north of the roundabout at the corner of Weatherstone and the paved ally for resident parking. I've reported this several times and the tickets say it was reported to Duke with no change.
Photo taken yesterday 3/31; broken windows, door open, looks trashed
8am, Monday, April 1, 2024: For at least 30 minutes a male subject has been screaming in the woods along the Rail Trail north of Gordon Pike. He is screaming, cursing, and shouting mostly unintelligible and incoherent phrases. This is disturbing for many reasons - for safety of the trail users on a secluded, wooded trail, and for nearby property owners who have to wonder what is going on out in the woods (considering the history of crime and murder in homeless camps in this town). The City needs to clear ALL of the homeless camps out from Gordon Pike to Country Club Drive along the Rail Trail immediately. This is a problem that is only getting worse, and it is on City property. Get it taken care of now before an innocent victim gets hurt on the trail system.
The street light on the intersection of grimes lane and dunn is burnt out. It is dangerously dark. I am concerned about crime with the area not being well lit.
FYI your contracted service people park in front of a fire hydrant on a yellow when there was plenty of parking. Peoples park on Kirkwood
There is a street light out on the corner of Grimes and Dunn St. We have had some vandalism to neighborhood cars and several neighbors have expressed concerns that Dunn street is not well lit. We could use additional street lighting and replacement of existing lights that are not working.
Peterman Plumbers sign in the ROW at 2417 S Rogers Street.
Tucker For Sale sign in the ROW at 915 E First Street
Are election signs permitted in the ROW? If not, there is a blue one at 1127 E First Street. If they are allowed, then you can close this case and I will not mention them anymore. Thanks!
