The public sidewalk in front of the Hampton Inn needs more shoveling. Salt alone will not suffice, because there's too much snow left on the sidewalk. Photo taken 2026 Feb 1 – 4:00 PM

One week after the snow stopped a very poor job of keeping the sidewalk clear on Dunn at Fourth and a cross walk inaccessible Next to the City's parking lot. Who is responsible?

There is a hole in the alleyway that causes a significant risk to pedestrians. This is just near the sidewalk area and pedestrian entrance to the 4th Street Parking garage. We have placed our own cones near the hole to try to protect folks, but the cones have been moved several times for cars to use the alley. This is an immediate hazard that needs to be fixed ASAP. Thanks, Brian

The Regions drive-thru bank has not cleared their sidewalks and even worse the intersection walkways are not cleared at Kirkwood and Rogers so we have to cross Rogers mid-block, through the traffic, into the driveway of the Circle K where cars are driving in and out. The Regions should be contacted (and fined) but I also wonder if the City should be sending out smaller plows (like you use on the B-line) to clear the intersection pedestrian crossing spaces that are now snow mounds from the City street plows all over the city.

Across from the Pete Ellis post office there are several trees marked with a white cross. What else can this mean that they will be cut down soon. I was given the impression that this is an INDOT project. However, when I go to the INDOT public comment site, they say this is not INDOT. See picture. So is it the city of Bloomington who will be responsible for killing these beautiful oak trees?
