This rental house across the street from us has had two mattresses leaned up against the house by the garage for quite a long time being exposed to the elements and likely a habitat for vermin. More recently, someone has dumped a mattress from the Bypass that sits on the steep hill at the end of our Fritz Drive culdesac. Can HAND cite the rental property owner about the mattresses at the residence? And can Sanitation do something to remove the mattress dumped from the Bypass?
Markings across my and neighbors front yards “proposed route” and I’m very concerned this will involve a large perennial garden in which I have invested a huge amount of money and time and it appears this is going right through my garden.
Family of 5 groundhogs! They're destroying our yards and eating our plants. Help! Thanks!
The light at Fee and 10th seems to be stuck (12:10 pm Sat May 31). It is green for 10th St and red for Fee so cars on Fee are stuck with no where to go . . ..
The lawn had not been mowed recently. Weeds in the yard are about a foot tall.
The lawn has no been mowed for more than a month, and the weed are about a foot tall on the property.
Approximate location. Poison Hemlock in ROW, infringing upon the asphalt. There is no room for a pedestrian to step out off the road without getting tangled up in the brush. No picture this time. Chronic issue in this location.
Poison hemlock infestation along the 4th St walking path between S. Jefferson and S. Roosevelt St in Green acres. This is not the only location of such an infestation of this poisonous invasive in Green Acres. There is also a tree of heaven established here. Lack of maintenance is chronic in this location. In general, lack of maintenance enforcement per city code of ROW and Utility Easements in Green Acres is, in my humble opinion, the reason that those of us who try to maintain our lawns, gardens, and outdoor living spaces, are in a constant losing battle against these invasive species. Sigh.
People regularly speed on this road. It is unsafe.
