poorly repaired pot hole
poorly repaired pot hole
I wanted to bring to your attention that most of the lights on the tennis courts are not working in the evening.
The second light pole south of the far north east corner of the Bryan Park tennis courts has a metal piece that is off and the wires inside are now exposed. This could be dangerous having live electrical wires exposed in a park.
Elevated metal, bolted in the ground. Causing people to trip. Potentially dangerous.
Please be sure the lights in Bryan Park do not come on when it gets dark during the Eclipse
Several people have been staying overnight in the park near or in the shelter. On Wednesday night/thursday morning there was screaming at 2 am.
On the north easy side of the Bryan Park tennis courts, along the north fence perimeter, there is a big hole in the fencing. The tennis balls can go out of the fence and into traffic. The fencing is also sticking out where people can get caught up or tripped or possibly cut by it. It is a dangerous situation.
From Reddit Bloomington: Fiber cables damaging sewer lines We live right next to Bryan Park. About a week ago our toilet backed up, and after multiple visits from our (very honest and reasonable) plumber, we discovered that the city's fiber optic internet contractor had carelessly run an optic cable directly through our sewer line. This caused a ton of debris to get into our drain pipe and completely clog the pipe, necessitating a $10k repair. I called the city and apparently, this is happening to people all over town. (The person in the utilities office said I was the third person to call today with this exact problem, and our plumber said that this contractor got thrown out of Carmel for damaging so many sewer lines).
The tennis court lights are not turning on in the evening. I was there Friday night from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM expecting the lights would eventually turn on. They didn’t and everyone playing tennis had to leave because of the darkness.
I noticed last night that the Northeast corner of the tennis courts at Bryan Park has a light that is facing to the north. It's very bright and shines right into traffic headed south on Woodlawn. I'm not sure if it got rotated in a wind event or something, but it might need to be turned back towards the courts.
