Tent camp is growing quite large. This is against city ordinance. Same problem is going on at switchyard park. Homeless camps being set up in the area, people loitering, creating trash and littering, human waste, needles, etc. this is causing huge problems with nearby businesses and home owners. Been going on months/years? Will this ever be addressed in a manner needed to actually fix the problems? Or will Bloomington continue to enable these problems?

Tents are popping up again in Seminary Park and the adjacent open spaces. I cannot believe these are for "Garage sales, religious tent meetings, nonprofit events and political rallies" (City Code), so I hope they will soon be removed.

I live in Maple Heights next to the naturescape (approximately at the intersection of Rogers and 13th st). Crews were working here for weeks replacing an electricity pole and they left a bunch of trash and debris in the naturescape, including wooden pallets and a broken tent.

Hello, Monroe Parks & Rec, This is just an FYI and hopefully an appeal for help. I contacted the sheriff’s office on Sunday, March 29, 2020 and since then the camping site looks to have expanded and the trash in the creek and along the road has increased. If you begin at the parking lot on Country Club and walk south on the gravel road that runs parallel to the trail, it takes about a 4-5 minute walk south to arrive at the spot. It is past the brush and next to the creek. There is a small orange tent and a large blue/green structure (I didn’t get too close), there is also something large in the creek that looks like bedding. There is someone living in a tent in the backyard of 801 W 7th. The owner already has two unrelated people living on the property besides him and now there is someone living in a tent in the yard.
