Tire in the street needs removal.
Tire in the street needs removal.
In response to case number 208 730 the city came and cleaned the actual drains, but not the debris along the curb. With the heavy rain coming all week the debris is going to wash and block the drain again. Can the city come and clean the curb along the street to prevent further blockage?
Street drain clogged (opposite of the pond). Also debris on the sidewalk next to it. Thanks
My husband sent in a request on Nov. 11, 2025 regarding debris blocking the stormwater infrastructure on the southeast corner of Maxwell Lane and Highland. Checking on this, case #206765, shows it as closed. I assume that this means that the situation has been attended to. It seems that this has not happened. When we reported it the debris were about a foot below the surface of the edge of the entrance. They have now reached the top of the curbing around the opening and the last couple of rains have washed leaves and sticks out and over the edge. Something needs to be done about this. Thank you. There’s some sharp debris on the road, which may damage the tires.
Lots of gravel in the street from an abandoned construction project. The place is a mess.
Huge amount of dirt and gravel and mud accumulating by the street and sidewalk along Dunn just north of 10th. Is there a drainage issue in this area?
We work for IU Real Estate and we received a report from a staff member at our Commercial Building, Starbucks stating, "I wasn’t sure who to reach out to but I wanted to make someone aware just in case. While running trash outside to our trash bins in the alley, I came out right as what appeared to be an unhoused man threw his items on the ground and loudly said “Well I need to take a sh**.” He started removing his pants and went into the cut out just passed our alley side doors where there are two large dumpsters (I believe for the residents upstairs). I do apologize for anyone that has to handle this, but I wanted to make you aware in case there was a mess with any kind of human excrement there." I have attached a picture of the area they are referring to. Please contact our office with any questions or concerns. (812) 855-3054.
Could we get a street sweeper on Faculty Ave. to clear the sweet gum balls in the street? Next week is spring break at IU and there are fewer Vernon the street. Thank you! The crew in the past has done a great job on this!
At the corner of South Sare and Mill Stone Way there is an excessive amount of sand/dirt/debris.
