MOTHER OF TENANTS: REPORTS THIS WEEKEND THAT THEY VISITED AND SAW NUMEROUS RATS AT THE AREA WHERE THE TRASH IS PUT. THERE IS NO DUMPSTER; A CONCRETE PAD WITH SOME TRASH CANS AND THE KIDS ARE AFRAID TO GO NEAR THIS AREA SO THEY THROW THE BAGS IN. SAID THE KIDS HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT THIS THRU THE SCHOOL YEAR. ASKED AND SHE DID STATE THE RATS ARE NOT IN THE BUILDING AS FAR AS SHE KNOWS.
Mike called to report a large hole in the pavement by the curb. He said it appears to be storm work being done and had caved in.
CINERGY REQUESTED AFTER HOURS EMERGENGY LINE LOCATES.
Caller states there is trash on the porch and all around the house.
REQUESTED WATER METER TO BE SHUT OFF AFTER HOURS. HAD LEAK THEY BELIEVED TO BE IN THE METER ITSELF. THE LEAK TURNED OUT TO BE APPROXIMATELY 2' FROM THE METER ON THEIR SIDE. WAS BILLED $54.00 AFTER HOUR FEE.
Dr. Colfield called to say that his mother lives at this address and has had a plumber out to see about her sewer which was backing up. Roto Rooter plumbers advised her that the line was broken in several places and probably was broken when the city installed the water main on Henderson St.
