Parking on Unimproved Surface
612 E 1st ST
- Case Date:
- 5/5/2016
several vehicles and trailers parked in the grass.
Resident called to complain about excess parking from Bryan Park leaking into the neighborhood. In particular, folks parking on grass because there are not curbs in the area. This has lead to erosion problems.
This is a carryover from a previous complaint. Vehicles have been moved from yard to edge of street.

White Kia vehicle is offered for sale with signs in window. Vehicle is parked on grass by alley on south side of 17th Street
Citizen registered complaint about parking during Bryan Park events-- he says overflow usually goes to Woodlawn, but even then there isn't enough parking and cars begin parking in people's yards on Woodlawn and around the park.
On the weekends a car is parked in the yard of this property adjacent to the alley, but they move it during the week day. Can parking issue fines on weekends? The property as a whole is disgrace and looks like a shack, dragging down property values. Who would want to live near people like this?
There are fresh piles of stone on the alley along the southside of this property. It appears that they intend to convert the backyard into parking. Is this legal? Please disregard this concern if the stone is instead intended for improvement of the alley.
Norm from HAND has received a complaint that vehicle(s) are parking on the grass at this location.
