Utility work for Arlington Multifamily Project

Road closure of West Arlington Road from March 14–22, 2026 due to field conditions encountered during work under Permit number ROW2025-11-2134. The location of a sanitary manhole where work is required is near the roundabout and does not provide the required minimum 60 feet of taper distance for a single-lane closure. This closure is proposed during Indiana University and Monroe County Community School Corporation’s Spring Break to minimize traffic impacts and will allow crews to complete the sanitary work in this location, after which traffic control will return to the previously approved single-lane closure configuration. Detours will be routed via Gourley Pike and Kinser Pike.
