The Sycamore Shelter can still be accessed from the west via Kinser Pike and Club House Dr. Monroe County has accepted ownership of the bridge but does not currently have funding for repairs as of 8/3/26. A date for re-opening will be contingent upon necessary bridge repairs and is currently not known.
