County closed bridge to motor vehicles until it can be replaced. Bridge will remain open for bicyclists and pedestrians.

Genesis Construction is requesting a pedestrian diversion and intermittent closures, traffic lane shifts and intermittent lane closures, alley closures, and metered parking reservations associated with the project at 115 E Kirkwood Avenue. The request impacts the northern sidewalk on E Kirkwood, the north–south and east–west alleys surrounding 115 E Kirkwood, the east–west travel lanes on E Kirkwood, and the metered parking spaces along the north and south side of E Kirkwood.

W Club House Dr east of the Sycamore Shelter and to the intersection at N Old SR 37 has been closed. The Sycamore Shelter can still be accessed from the west via Kinser Pike and Club House Dr. Monroe County has accepted ownership of the bridge but does not currently have funding for repairs as of 8/3/26. A date for re-opening will be contingent upon necessary bridge repairs and is currently not known.

Full closure of Road Road between South Jamie Lane to South Sare Road. Detour on South Walnut Street Pike to East Winslow Road to East Rogers Road to South Sare Road.

Closure of West 3rd Street between College and Walnut for median replacement, paving, sidewalk, and curb replacement.

There will be lane restrictions with flagging throughout the project duration. This will be for concrete work, milling and paving, and striping.

Beginning August 31st, City of Bloomington Utilities (CBU) will begin a phased project in the area of South Fairview Street and West Fourth Street to allow crews to complete stormwater maintenance. Phase 1: The first phase will include the closure of the intersection of South Fairview Street and West Fourth Street, along with a section of West Fourth Street extending to the alleyway west of the intersection. This phase is expected to continue through September 11.
