Road Closed

Beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, City of Bloomington Utilities (CBU) will close a section of West First Street between South Rogers Street and South Fairview Street to complete sanitary sewer work in the area. The closure will remain in place for the duration of the work. Local access to residences and businesses will be maintained whenever possible. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes and use caution near the work zone while CBU crews and equipment are on site. As with all construction activities, the schedule is subject to change based on weather and field conditions.
