Lane Restriction

Beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, City of Bloomington Utilities (CBU) crews will replace a fire hydrant at 501 North Walnut Street as part of ongoing efforts to maintain essential water infrastructure. During the work, a temporary lane restriction will be in place on North Walnut Street from the intersection of West Ninth Street to approximately 150 feet north of the intersection. Residents and businesses in the immediate area may experience brief impacts, though crews will work efficiently to complete the hydrant replacement as quickly and safely as possible.
