Road Closed

Beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, City of Bloomington Utilities (CBU) will close a portion of South Smith Road just south of East Moores Pike while crews replace a stormwater culvert. The closure will be in place overnight from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Motorists should use alternate routes and are encouraged to use caution while traveling near the work zone. CBU staff will work to minimize disruptions and maintain access to nearby homes and businesses whenever possible. As with all construction activities, the schedule is subject to change based on weather and field conditions.
