Lane Restriction

Beginning Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., City of Bloomington Utilities (CBU) will complete an emergency water main repair on East 10th Street. The work will require the closure of the westbound lane of East 10th Street between North Walnut Street and North Lincoln Street, as well as the closure of North Washington Street between East 10th Street and North Cottage Grove Avenue. Motorists should use alternate routes and are encouraged to use caution while traveling near the work zone. CBU staff will work to minimize disruptions and maintain access to nearby homes and businesses throughout the repair. As with all emergency repairs, the schedule is subject to change based on field conditions.
