Road Closed

Beginning Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 7:00 a.m., City of Bloomington Utilities (CBU) will complete water main improvements at the intersection of North Lincoln Street and East Sixth Street. To allow crews to safely complete the work, the intersection will be closed to traffic during the project. The closure is expected to remain in place until 5:00 p.m. Motorists should use caution when traveling through the area and are encouraged to seek an alternate route if possible. CBU staff will work to minimize traffic disruptions and maintain access to nearby homes and businesses throughout the project. As with all construction and maintenance activities, the schedule is subject to change based on weather and field conditions.
