CBU closes City Hall Morton entrance

CBU is replacing a stormwater box culvert at the Morton St entrance to City Hall. The project will begin mid-morning on Monday 2/12/24 and will be complete by Tuesday 2/27/24. For the duration of the project, the sidewalk along the west side of N Morton St will be closed from approximately W 7th St to W 8th St, as well as the entrance to the City Hall parking lot, as indicated in orange on the photo below. No parking spaces will be affected. The parking lot will still be accessible from the N Rogers St and W 10th St entrances.

Smith and SR 46 Intersection Improvement

Smith rd and SR 46 intersection improvements. This includes new storm pipe, sidewalk,
curbs, and widening of the intersection. This is part of INDOT's project R-41465. Closures include road and sidewalk closures that
will be completed in two phases: north of SR 46 and south of SR 46. The south side will be completed first starting on 3/12/24 and
completing 4/26/34 followed by the north side on 4/29/24 and completing 6/13/24. Road closures will be in place on Smith at the
intersection for both with planned detours to be used. Private access to homes and business to be maintained as soft closures.
11,797 sq ft of pavement excavations, 80 sq ft of non pavement excavations, 87 sq ft of new sidewalk construction, and 2
residential driveway installations are included in the work
