TO AMEND TITLE 2 OF THE BLOOMINGTON MUNICIPAL CODE ENTITLED “ADMINISTRATION AND PERSONNEL” - Re: Expanding the Bloomington Commission on Sustainability to Include an Appointment from Monroe County Government and an Ex-Officio Representative from Indiana University
In order to foster further collaboration between the City, Indiana University and Monroe County government on matters of sustainability, this ordinance amends BMC 2.12.100, whic established the Bloomington Commission on Sustainability, by adding a member representi Indiana University and a member representing Monroe County government. Under this ordinance, the Monroe County Commissioners would appoint one member from Monroe County government and the Director of the Indiana University Office of Sustainability or his/her designee shall serve as the ex-officio member from Indiana University. All members would have a vote.
