This amendment is sponsored by Councilmember Volan after consultation with representatives of Bloomington Transportation Options for People (BTOP). It amends Schedule V of BMC 15.40.020, which concerns the times and charges in City lots and garages, by dividing the “nonreserved space” parking permits into 12/5 leases (twelve hours a day [6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.] five days a week [Monday – Friday]) and 24/7 leases (twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week) leases and increasing the rates for the reserved and nonreserved leases in the City’s three garages.
