City of Bloomington, Indiana – Kerry Thomson, Mayor

City Council

2006 Ordinance 06-24

TO REPEAL AND REPLACE TITLE 20 OF THE BLOOMINGTON MUNICIPAL CODE ENTITLED, “ZONING”, INCLUDING THE INCORPORATED ZONING MAPS, AND TITLE 19 OF THE BLOOMINGTON MUNICIPAL CODE, ENTITLED “SUBDIVISIONS”

2006 Amendment 19a (Not Introduced)

AMENDMENT 19a to ORD 06-24

This amendment shifts the threshold for parking requirements from a minimum figure to a maximum figure. By stating allowable parking in terms of a maximum limit, the intent of this amendment is to accomplish the transportation goals set out in the City’s Growth Policies Plan. Note: This amendment differs from the originally-proposed Am 19 in that this amendment includes maximum parking limits on non-residential development in the Downtown Overlays Districts. In these districts, any parking shall not exceed fifty percent (50%) of the parking required in Exhibit PK-A: Required Maximum Number of Parking Spaces by Land Use.
