The new roundabout at S. Sare and E Rogers Rd. is proving to be quite a challenge for motorists. Many people fail to yield before entering roundabout and I have seen drivers literally going backwards through it. Every 3rd to 4th time I am in the roundabout someone fails to yield and I am forced to swerve, slam on brakes to avoid them. Entrances to round about need traffic enforcement and/or more signs, etc.
The signs and striping for the roundabout are installed in accordance with the most recent standards for roundabouts. Having observed the roundabout for hours, I have not seen a prevalence of failure to yield as stated in the complaint, although from time to time, a driver will proceed without properly yielding.
