Hello, This afternoon I noticed that someone had set up an animal trap at the SE end of the lake in the Wapehani Mountain Bike Park (right next to the bridge over the stream that flows out of the lake). It's a large, spring-loaded cage. Is this something that you're aware of, or is someone trying to catch animals illegally? Best, Kasia Chmielewska

The Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department is live trapping and relocating beavers from Wapehani to protect the trees around the lake. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
