Sent email to owner: Hello Corry, I am the compliance officer for the neighborhood where your property (521 E. 2nd) is located. I received a complaint about poison ivy on the property and wanted to let you know about it. There is a large vine of poison ivy growing up the southeast corner of the house. The city ordinance states that it is unlawful for a property to become overgrown with noxious plants. Could you please eliminate the poison ivy from the house and property? I really appreciate you looking into this matter. I would much rather handle this with a phone call or an email than send you a Notice of Violation or a fine. Please call me or email me if you have any questions. My direct line is (812) 349-3434. Kind Regards, Jo Stong Housing & Neighborhood Development City of Bloomington, Indiana (812) 349-3420
