Other: Hello-- Once a week a group of us run on the Rail Trail...we are primarily a collection of faculty from IU who really enjoy the trails that P&R provide (THANKS). We are also truly a multi-generational group...with a couple of our members ALWAYS....and I do mean always....mentioning how nice they thought it was to see a plaque honoring George Heise and others near the bridge at the end of the Rail Trail. George was a longtime member of the Psychology department and a colleague/teacher for many in our group. So, they were very saddened to see that the plaque has been stolen. I've attached a picture of where it used to be, and hope you could find it in the budget to replace it. I'd appreciate a response. Thanks again. Rob
I am responding to your on-line citizen comment regarding the plaque on the Rail Trail. I have forwarded your concern to our Operations Division. Our Operations Director has been out of the office this week, however, when he returns the Operations Coordinator will work with him to have it replaced by the end of the summer.
