Sidewalk & Curb Complaints:

Other: This is the third time we are contacting the city about this problem. We have a culvert that heads west of our house for one block. Our house is on the bottom of the street, so all the debris when flooding happens lands in our culvert and yard. The house west of ours at 1928 Ruby Lane has several big holes in their culvert which are larger than 3 feet. The debris from their destroyed concrete comes down to our culvert and blocks the waterway. I am including pictures. Last year the city fixed the culvert on a house 5 houses up from us, but didn't fix the rest of the culvert. Please advise what to do. Thank you

I sent the following email to Ms Faber and closed the case. Ms Faber, As a follow up to the report you made on the City's website regarding the ditch along Ruby Ln, I have been informed repairs were made to the asphalt in the ditch, upstream from your property. Additionally, I believe you spoke directly w/one of the supervisors from our T&D dept, Tony Eads. He informed me he pointed out that your ditch line is higher in elevation than those upstream from you, and the only way to correct some of the issues you are having would be for him to dig this out. He mentioned you have some landscaping in this area, which would be disturbed if he did so. As I understand it, Tony left it up to you as to whether, or not, you wanted this done, asking you to call him if you decided you wanted this done. As of today, he has not heard from you; therefore, I'm going to close out your case. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Nancy Axsom

After talking w/our Stormwater Supervisor, he plans to visit the location and access the issue posted by the homeowner on Thur, June 27, weather dependent. I emailed this info to Ms. Faber.

I sent an email to Ms Faber letting her know I will be passing her info along to the appropriate personnel. Leaving her issue open until such time a resolution can be determined.

Nancy, I'm not sure who this should go to. Can you have someone inspect and contact the person?
