Staff pulled or cut >95% of the poison ivy around the volleyball area at Bryan. The block wall near the playground at lower Cascades is about 98% Virginia creeper and 2% poison ivy. When it stops raining staff will apply the following solution to all the remaining poison ivy at both locations in at least two treatments to ensure efficacy. Staff will be keeping a 2-gallon sprayer ready to go with this natural mixture for this type of very targeted use. Staff will be minimizing the salt content for minimal soil impact.
