Other: benches at bus stops There are a lot of elderly/handicapped individuals who ride the #2 Countryview bus to and from Krogers Seminary square. For some reason the benches on the west side of Krogers were removed. I contacted Bloomington Transit and they said it was the city that removed them. I was told it was because too many "street" people hang out there so this is to discourage that. It does not make sense since the bus stop on the east side of Krogers, closer to the park where those people hang out. The other thing that makes no sense is to inconvenience senior citizens over a situation that would seem to be something that the police patrol should be able to discourage by driving by often, especially those golf cart looking vehicles or bike patrols since it is part of the bline trail. Since the grocery is expanding and updating probably even more people will come there I would like to request that thosebenches be replaced. I can get a petition signed by passengers if it will do any good.
