Phone Call: storm sewer pipes are collapsing along frontage of property at 890 S Woodscrest
No budget for repair/replacement at this time.
As Built data on file. Owner to erect fence away from the storm pipes to allow for future repair/replacement. No additional action at this time
I met again with Jerry. We are in agreement that the pipe is both in and out of the right-of-way, and that it is in need of repair or replacement. I am requesting additional video inspection.
The majority of this section of storm pipe is within the public Right-of-Way.
Public Works has no record of installation, replacement, or repair in this section. Video inspection where accessible, shows major damage to the bottom of the pipes. I will discuss with Mike Bengtson.
met with property manager Jerry Pickle 340-0183. We walked the storm line and looked at areas collapsing. I told him I would examine, CBU would video, and I would get measurements to determine if the lines were in public R/W or on private property. It appears that it is in and out or R/W. Jerry states that the city replaced these lines about 15 years ago. I an requesting information from Public Works.
