Rose & 3rd is being re-striped as part of the Greeways Implementation Plan, so this concern is being addressed with the project. I emailed the citizen to report all of this.

Other: Hello, If you are not the correct contact, would you please forward this as appropriate? I am a faculty member at the School of Education. I walk to work daily and need to cross Third St. at Rose Ave. Is there any chance of having a crosswalk at this intersection? It is often very difficult to cross with the sometimes long lines of traffic coming from both directions. Finding a break in the traffic and competing with traffic turning onto Third from Rose is often very dangerous. Also, since I walk on Rose heading north from Hunter, I am forced to walk on the road until I reach Third St. What are the chances of having sidewalk installed on Rose south of Third?
