There are no apparent problems with the city infrastructure. This is a private pipe.

I called Ms. Aslami and let her know Scott was able to run his camera through the storm sewer north of her property and there is no problem with this pipe and he did not see that she is connected to this pipe. I explained again that the garage drain is probably tied to her sanitary lateral and that if she continues to have problems, she needs to call a plumber because this is part of her private system.

I left a voice message for Ms. Aslami letting her know we have checked the sanitary sewer mains adjacent to her home and do not see any problems. We have not been able to camera the storm main to the north due to the weather. I told her it may be next year before we can camera the storm sewer.

Met with Ms Aslami at her house. She showed me the drains that back up in her garage when it rains heavily. I explained to her again that these are private drains and I do not know whether they connect to the storm sewer or the sanitary sewer. I suggested she consider hiring a plumber to come make sure the lines are cleared and determine where they are connected. She insisted again that they don't have problems with any other lines (washer, sinks, toilets), only these when it rains hard and so she says it's the "city's storm water." I told her I can check the actual city-maintained pipes (both sanitary and storm) to see if I see any issues with those pipes but I cannot check her private lines in the garage. I will have to get Scott D. to camera the storm sewer.

I spoke to Ms Aslami and told her if it is a drain into her garage it is private. She insisted this was not private so I scheduled an appointment next week to meet her and have her explain the issue in person.
