Mr. Axsom and Mr. Peden determined that this sanitary sewer back-up occurred in the privately-owned sanitary sewer lateral. The property owner has been notified of this fact.

Phone Call: Owner of 415 South Woodlawn Avenue has inquired about ownership of sanitary lateral that is backing up at this location. He indicates he has had several back-ups in the couple of months. He has inquired about the possibility of CBU making repairs to this lateral. However, this is a private line and the homeowner’s responsibility. He has spoken with Tom Axsom, Rick Schroeder and Phil Peden of CBU. CBU main operating as designed.

Mr. Axsom and Mr. Peden have determined the City sanitary sewer main is operating properly and that the back-up occurred in the privately-owned sanitary sewer lateral.
