Spoke to Jay Wilkin. Listened to his concern. Shared with him that the Downtown Outreach Officers/Program will be more proactive in managing this type of a situation. That will start April 1st."
Other: I am manager at TRACKS. We run a IU apparel and record store at 415 E. Kirkwood Ave. Every day between 1 and 6 homeless people gather and sit on the limestone planter outside our store. It is having a negative impact on our business and I would like to know if there is any recourse to get them to move on. What are the rules on who can sit on the planter for how long?

Sent email to Chief Diekoff, Adam and Beverly asking for suggestions
Jason - could you please look into this with Chief Diekhoff, Adam (and maybe Beverly?) and contact Mr. Wilkin as soon as possible? You may also ask Patty but I don't think there is any limitation on sitting on the benches or planters if that is the only thing they are doing.
