Other: I REPORTED A MALFUNCTIONING PARKING METER AT ZONE7683, METER#SCOL107A. I DEPOSITED $2.00 IN THE METER AND IT DID NOT CREDIT ME ANY TIME AT ALL. I MOVED TO A DIFFERENT SPACE, TO AVOID GETTING A TICKET, AND HAPPENED TO RUN INTO THE METER LADY WHO GAVE ME THE NUMBER TO CALL TO REPORT THE METER. A METER TECH CAME RIGHT AWAY, AND REPAIRED THE METER, BUT COULD NOT REFUND MY $2.00. I UNDERSTAND THINGS BREAK, BUT IF I HAD NOT NOTICED THE MALFUNCTION, I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN A TICKET. IF I HAD NOT REPORTED IT SOMEONE ELSE COULD HAVE GOTTEN A TICKET. SO I WOULD LIKE MY MONEY BACK. QUARTERS WOULD BE ACCEPTABLE.
The City cannot refund your money. However, the City Parking Enforcement will credit 2 hours of time.
