I've emailed Ian to let him know the redirection should be working for him, now.
Other: Following any CoB link on a Mobile phone automatically redirects to the Mobile site. The original target of the link is lost and clicking "view full site" then take me to the home page. It makes all outreach efforts by your departments useless unless people are on actual computers.
Most tickets of this type should be closed within 2 days, although some cases may be longer. 0 days have already passed.

I've updated the mobile redirection code.
That work around does work. Feel free to close the ticket! Thanks again! Ian
I emailed Ian the following: You bring up a good point. Currently all web requests are evaluated based on "referer's broswer". If it is a mobile browser, then we "direct them" to the mobile site. (in your case, not to the content page you desired to see.) We do give the "opportunity" to view to full site, which then sets the session preference to full site. (but now you are on the index page (front page) not your initial entry point page.) So we see your issue and agree that it should be changed. Until we make the change to the production code, here is a work around: 1. goto the city web site on your mobile device and select "view full site". This will set your session to "full site". 2. goto whatever held the initial url that you wanted to view: (possibly a email message, possibly another app) if you touch that url you should now see that page rendered in the full site. Our solution (to be implemented in the future, and hopefully will address your concern) would be to only send people to the mobile site if they are on a mobile browser and the requested url is http://bloomington.in.gov. If they the url contains any other "path to resource" (stuff to the right of bloomington.in.gov) then the url would always go to the full site. (even if it is from a mobile device) Thanks for sharing this point. It is very helpful.
