Other: My partner and I enjoy the trails at Winslow Park. However, we both are very tall (6 feet), and we always have to duck due to tree limbs. We also have noticed that the paths are not wide for people to pass, and the vegetation along the path closest to South Highland Avenue is severely overgrown and needs to be cut back. In addition, most of the paths are covered in small stones/pebbles, and are creating canyons in the trail when it rains. Is it possible to completely make the trails to asphalt or concrete? Thanks.
The following e-mail was sent 8/14: A project to widen and pave the Winslow Sports Park Fitness Trail is scheduled for late summer/fall this year. The trail will be widened to a width of 6 feet, in some areas as wide as 8 feet. Vegetation and tree limbs will be trimmed back as part of this project.
