Other: TIS Bookstore at 1302 E. Third St: During and after heavy rains like this morning the sidewalks in front of our building become flooded and can't be used, making it difficult for customers to enter our store. The drainage on 3rd St. in front of our building is not sufficient or efficient. Huge puddles get splashed up against our building making it impossible for customers to use our sidewalks or enter our store.

We've investigated this and have determined that the issue is a result of the changes made to the bus pulloff area that were part of the new greensway plan. When the curbing was placed in the bus pull off area on the north side of the road the lanes were shifted south, pushing the traffic approximately 4 feet closer to the south curb line. To extend storm sewer to this area would be an extensive project and there would still be storm water running along the curb. We believe the best solution is to shift the traffic lanes back to the north in there original locations.
Nancy, This area could use some help. Rick
