Drainage or Runoff: Question
Phone Call: Ms Kim left a voice message this morning. I returned her call this afternoon and she explained she is concerned with the runoff in their back yard. Their neighbor put logs along their back yard and it pushes the runoff over into her back yard. She wants to know if they can do this. I told her this is probably an issue between the neighbors but I would be happy to come out and look at it.

I received a response from Greg Small, basically saying we cannot give recommendations. I forwarded this information to the residents.

I met with the property owners for over an hour and understand their concerns but this is an issue between the neighbors. I advised they could hire an attorney if they feel their property has been damaged by a neighbor's actions. They asked if I could recommend an attorney and I told them I would check with our city attorney.
