I did not receive a response from the voice message I left on 10/31 so I am closing the case.
Phone Call: Mr Watson left a voice mail message for me on 9/2/14 saying he owns 3 houses on Mitchell St and wants to talk about storm sewers.

I called and left a voice message for Mr Watson explaining I had visited the area and do not see any easy means of trying to keep water off their property. I also checked the HT and can not find any reference to the City installing storm sewer in this location this year and unfortunately we haven't even been able to get to the projects we thought we would this year. I told him to call me back if he has any further questions or comments.
I returned his call on 9/3/14 and he said he is specifically concerned about the home they own at 913 S Mitchell. It has a basement that has never been dry. They have had Jim Sherman and Tomi Allison out before and they promised curb and gutter on Mitchell St but this never happened. He said he read in the HT earlier this year that storm sewer would be installed on Mitchell St this year so they spent about $20.000 trying to dry the basement and were anticipating the storm sewer work on Mitchell. I told him I am only aware we budgeted for some storm sewer in the 500 block of S Mitchell St but not in this area and we have not been able to complete that work yet. He said the water seeps up through the floor of the basement when the ground becomes heavily saturated. They want to sell this house and are worried what this will do to the price. I told him I am familiar with the area and don't know of a "quick/cheap fix" but will look at it again and see if there's anything we can do.
