Other: I am wondering about the wind fall limbs in local parks, am I allowed to pick it up and take it home for my fire place???? Also when the City cuts down trees what happens to the wood??? Thank you for you time. I have lived in many places and Bloomington has some of the best parks I have seen. Thank you for that

You are permitted to pick up downed limbs that can be carried away by hand, without use of a chainsaw. Driving on park grounds is prohibited. We typically chip up cut limbs and trees or haul them to the local "green" landfill. Thank you for your comments about our City parks. Respectfully, Dave Williams Operations Director
