Contacted citizen on January 12. Issue will be resolved by January 16. Fence contractor was not responsive in a timely manner. We are doing the repairs with department staff.

Other: A section of the wood fence at the Howe St entrance to the Buildings and Trade Park was taken down when the city cut down one of the trees along the street. It has been 2 months and the pieces of the fence are still where they were left on the ground. In true broken window fashion someone has now broken down the far end of the fence. This should have been repaired long ago.

Operations superintendent confirmed that a contractor failed to respond to this project. We shouldn't have waited this long to resolve it. It will be resolved by January 16.
