We hand dug a small channel into the tree plot area over to curb to help drain the sidewalk in this area.

Other: the sidewalk in front of 2210 floods whenever it rains. it thus froze yesterday and last night my mother broke her leg falling on the ice. besides this. the water gets so deep there u have to walk in the street when ot rains or soak your shoes.

We visited the site and saw the ice frozen over the sidewalk. We tried to dig a channel through the tree plot over to the curb so the water could escape and not freeze on the sidewalk. However, the ground was frozen and our shovel would not work. We are going to go back and try it again once the ground thaws out a little more.
